In February 2025, many states will begin distributing SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits directly to EBT cards, but the timing of these payments will vary. While some states will issue all payments on February 1, others will continue over a period of days or even weeks, meaning some recipients may need to wait longer to receive their benefits. For some, February 1st will be the day all payments are processed, but the total distribution period for other states could last much longer.

One notable detail is that Alaska will send out the highest SNAP payments in February, with some recipients potentially receiving over $1,756, a figure much higher than the typical maximum of $1,364 seen in the 48 contiguous states and D.C.
