The USDA and Food and Nutrition Service have finalized the February 2024 SNAP payment details for recipients across the United States. It’s important to note that residents of Alaska and Hawaii will receive higher payments due to the increased cost of living and inflation in these areas. Additionally, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands will also see larger payments for similar reasons.

For most of the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia, the maximum SNAP benefit for a single person in February 2024 will be $292. Thanks to the 2025 COLA increase, this amount is slightly higher than the September 2024 figures. In Alaska (Rural 2), beneficiaries can access up to $586 for a single person.
