The 2025 NFL playoffs are set to kick off in just two days, promising an exciting postseason filled with new contenders and seasoned teams vying for the Super Bowl LIX title. This year’s playoffs feature fresh faces, including the Washington Commanders, Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, and Los Angeles Chargers, alongside familiar powerhouses like the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs, making their 10th consecutive playoff appearance, are chasing history as they aim to become the first team to win three straight Super Bowls.
Wild Card Weekend: Key Matchups
The playoffs begin on Saturday, Jan. 11, with the Houston Texans hosting the Los Angeles Chargers on CBS and Paramount+. Wild Card Weekend will feature seven games, with two airing on CBS, including Sunday’s early matchup where the Denver Broncos travel to Buffalo to face the Bills.
Saturday night’s marquee game will see the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens clash for the third time this season, marking Amazon’s first-ever playoff game broadcast.
The final game of Wild Card Weekend, set for Monday, Jan. 13, pits the Los Angeles Rams against the Minnesota Vikings. Due to ongoing wildfires in Southern California, the game has been relocated to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. This is the first time since 1936 that the NFL has moved a playoff game to a different city.
